Warrier – Anoop Menon Starrer KArinkunnam Sixes have finally hit theatres
today. The Movie is the next directorial venture if Deepu Karunakaran who has
crafted the Mammooty starrer Film Fireman. Karinkunnam Sixes is all abot
Volleyball. It is for the first time in Molywood that a movie is made based o
the sport of Vollwy Ball.
Anoop Menon
plays the ole of a Volleyball coach in the film and Manju Warrier Pays the wife
of Anoop Menon in the film, due tos ome circumstances Manju Warrier gets into
the role of the coach and Karinkunnam Sixes narrates the challenges faces by
volleyball coach Vandana, who trains a group of inmates at the Poojapura
Central Jail.
“Karinkunnam 6’s” also stars Suraj Venjarumoodu, Lena, Sreejith Ravi, Shyamaprasad, Kottayam Pradeep, Noby, Jagadeesh, Maniyanpilla Raju, Major Ravi, Manikuttan, Nandu and Shankar Ramakrishnan in significant roles. Tamil actor Samuthirakani also plays a pivotal role in the film.

In the film Action Hero Biju we have seen him in an emotional role and in
Karinkunnam Sixes he is playing a serious character and has a remarkable
presence throughout the film.
Actors Babu
Antony, Gregory Jacob, Baiju, Padmaraj Ratheesh, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Sudev
Nair and Sudheer Karamana are seen as Karinkunnam 6’s team members, who are
trained by Manju’s character.
The story of “Karinkunnam 6’s” has been penned by Arunlal Ramachandran, while the cinematography has been handled by Jayakrishna Gummadi and Rahul Raj has composed its music. The sports-centric film, which is being produced under the banner of Backwater studios by Jayalal Menon and Anil Biswas
The first half ends with the challenges faced by Vandana in training the jail inmates.
The film goes
through an usual routine of sports movie in the second half. The movie is
exploring the soul of the sport event Volleyball and after watching the movie
we can see many being inspired and wanting to play the game of Volleyball. The
director has also managed to have a thrill element throughout the film.
Fnal Verdict:
Manju Warrier , Anoop Menon and the Team members have played well under Deepu
karunakaran and the play is worth watching
